The company provides the services of Tim Morris-Smith, an executive leader, Chartered Accountant and company director with twenty-seven years of international experience in a number of NYSE listed businesses and draws on a network of skilled practioners to meet the requirements of specific business assignments. Whilst Shared.Advisor emerged from work in implementing Shared Services, the portfolio now includes interim executive assignments, project leadership, mentoring and special investigations working with Boards and “C” level leaders.
Tim in his leadership roles has also worked in the community sector in Australia with significant exposure to State and Federal Governments, as well as pioneering and advocating for developments in social entrepreneurship, social finance and “for-purpose” projects in education, social and affordable housing and childcare.
Career experience includes senior leadership roles or consulting assignments with American Express, Honeywell, GE, UTC Fire & Security, TNT Express and more recently as CFO for Australia’s largest national community services organisation Mission Australia.
Recent work in the not-for-profit sector has included substantial exposure to social capital, social and affordable housing, major government contracts including Jobs Services Australia and wider not-for profit sector reform agenda.
The focus of Shared.Advisor is on delivering the results and outcomes the business needs whilst operating to the highest standards of professionalism, objectivity and trust. Core to this is a strong change management and program execution skill set focusing on more than just incremental improvement, preferring instead to lead transformational strategic initiatives including M&A and significant restructuring programs.
